近幾個月來狂漲的白銀價格，在2025年最後一周像坐上雲霄飛車，大起大落。白銀現貨本周一（29日）收盤大跌9%，隔天強漲5.8%，但周三盤中一度又跌近8%。
早在上周末，就有一名華爾街老將警告，這種貴金屬的投資人得多加小心。從事大宗商品交易近50年、在X上追蹤人數超過84萬人的交易權威布蘭特（Peter Brandt），12日27日（上周六）發文恭喜那些近幾個月因押注白銀而賺大錢的投資人，但同時也警告市場可能瞬間風雲變色。
他表示：「押對寶總是讓人開心。但要曉得這件事，變動可能遠遠超越所有預期，頂峰總是說來就來，一回檔則幾乎總是回到滿。」

結果市場29日確實大轉向，在當天稍早首次漲破每英兩80美元後，白銀價格收盤迴跌到約72美元左右，30日盤中又大漲8%至約78美元。白銀期貨價格今年已飆漲逾150%。
在29日銀價大跌後，布蘭特又再發文表達擔憂。他表示，幾乎在每個市場周期里，即使是那些發誓過絕不脫手的「死多頭」，也不可避免會達到一個「顧不得價格變零或100萬」的臨界點，承受的痛苦多到讓他們想要退出。
布蘭特表示，他「不確定」銀市是否已到了那個臨界點，但時間會證明一切。
